Site Facilities :
We like to think that the facilities at Fathom and Blues are second to none. We have all the facilities anyone involved in watersports could hope to need:
- dry, heated changing rooms
- gear lockers
- kit wash-down areas
- drying rooms and
- hot showers and
- plenty of car parking
Plus a caf serving hot and cold snacks throughout the day, should you feel the need for chocolate or a warming drink.
There is a fresh water tank, shower and hose for kit and suit wash-down and we have a secure kit storage area for customers.
The whole of the inside is a wet area for eating, briefing and signing Logbooks etc, together with plenty of outdoor seating, on our sun terrace overlooking Portland Harbour where you can relax after your dive.
We even serve hot Ribena and snack bars on the boats after your dive!
We have two large Hamworthy compressors and air storage banks to 300 Bar; and we can supply Nitrox to 232 Bar. Our Nitrox O2 Analyser is available for use.
The boats are accessed from 3 pontoons which are directly off our slipway - one or two easy steps away. And no climbing, heaving or puffing before you even set off for your diver!
