Conducted in 2 of our RIB’s (6.85 metres and 5.85 meters) the RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is intended to benefit those with no previous experience of handling a boat of any description, and will provide the candidate with the theory, and practical knowledge to safely take charge of small planing or displacement craft.

By the end of the course you will be able to plan a basic route, launch and recover your boat, carry out high speed and low speed manoeuvres, secure the boat correctly and safely to a buoy, anchor, come alongside and depart from tight moorings and recover a man overboard.
